DPI-aware Application:

Introduces DPI awareness to make UI elements automatically scaled and bitmaps and icons properly loaded based on the DPI value, for avoidance of image distortion or text truncation. This new feature helps the application run better on devices with high-DPI display settings.
PPDF (Pfile-based PDF) File Decryption (Enterprise Reader Only):
Supports the decryption of PPDF files (the Microsoft IRM protection for PDF V2 protected files), allowing users to modify and save the modified PPDF file if permissions allow.


ISSUE FIXES:

Fixed an issue where Foxit Reader failed to remain as the default PDF viewer after update in Windows 8.
Fixed an issue where a wrong message was prompted during custom scan.

PDFCreator ist ein kostenloses Programm, mit dem sich Dokumente eines jeden Windows-Programms als PDF-Datei speichern lassen. Es wird dazu als Drucker in das System eingebunden und erlaubt so die Ausgabe in eine PDF-Datei.

Die Qualität der erstellten Dokumente ist dabei ähnlich hoch wie bei den Produkten von Adobe. Zum weiteren Funktionsumfang von PDFCreator gehört eine 128-Bit-Verschlüsselung, die die Dateien vor unerwünschten Zugriffen schützt. Auch eine Bündelung mehrerer Dokumente zu einer PDF-Datei ist möglich.

Among them was a problem that could result in empty profiles, when PDFCreator was loading the settings while another instance was closing.
