Foxit  Reader  5.3  has  new  features which will enhance  the  reading
quality of PDFs. Several major bugs from the previous versions have
been fixed.   
 
1.  Supports reading PDF files protected by RMS with the dynamic watermark. 
2.  Added the option of “Tile Large Pages” to the print dialog box. With this new
feature, users can tile pages that are larger than the selected paper size at
a specified scale. The whole page content will be divided and printed  on

Bei dem kostenfreie PDF Creator von PDF24 handelt es sich um ein Werkzeug zum Erstellen und Bearbeiten von Dokumenten im PDF-Fomat. Die Anwendung steht kostenlos zum Download zur Verfügung.

Geht es um das Erstellen von PDF-Dateien, so wird mit dem PDF24 Creator ein virtueller PDF Drucker auf den Systemen installiert. Diesbezüglich muss man zunächst ein beliebiges Dokument in einem Programm wie Word oder Powerpoint erstellen oder öffnen. Klickt man dann auf Drucken, so öffnet sich ein Fenster, in dem man den virtuellen PDF-Drucker auswählen kann.

Die dabei angefertigten PDF-Dokumente lassen sich wahlweise auch verschlüsseln und mit einem Passwort schützen. Bei der Kennwortvergabe kann man festlegen, für welche Rechte das Passwort benötigt wird: Zum Öffnen der Datei, zum Drucken oder zum Kopieren von Text aus dem Dokument heraus. Ferner lassen sich mit dem PDF-Tool auch einzelne PDF-Dateien zusammenfügen.

Mit der Veröffentlichung der Version 4.5.0 haben die Entwickler laut dem Changelog dafür gesorgt, dass der Viewer im PDF24 Editor maximiert öffnet.

Zudem wurden die Schriftart im "Speichern als"-Dialog durch eine besser lesbare Font ausgetauscht, die Standardprofile modifiziert und der Fax-Upload verbessert. Ferner werden Dateinamen nach dem Speichern im Editor in der Oberfläche korrekt dargestellt. Neu hinzugekommen ist die Sprachdatei in Serbisch.
