Das Problem trat meistens bei der Verwendung von WIA Treibern auf.

Mit Foxit Reader 4.3.1.0323 wird laut dem veröffentlichten Changelog ein Fehler behoben. Gemeint ist damit ein Problem im Zusammenhang mit einem unerwarteten Absturz der Software, wenn ein speziell präpariertes PDF-Dokument geöffnet wird.

Bugs in PDF API beseitigt

Es wurden einige Bugs in der PDF API behoben. Bei einigen speziell formatierten PDF hat die API die PDF nicht korrekt gelesen. Dies hat zu Fehlern im Programm geführt. Weiterhin gab es bei verschlüsselten PDF Probleme. Normalerweise können verschlüsselte PDF nicht im PDF Editor gelesen werden. Dies war aufgrund eines Fehlers aber trotzdem möglich.
Vordergrund/Hintergrund Fensterproblematik im PDF24 Editor behoben

War der PDF24 Editor geöffnet und wurde dieser von anderen Fenstern überlagert und wurde nun ein Dokument in den Editor geladen, dann blieb der PDF24 Editor im Hintergrund. Der Editor ließ sich auch nicht mehr in den Vordergrund holen. Diese Problematik ist beseitigt.
Option für mehrseitige TIFF zugefügt

Klickt man im Assistenten auf Speichern unter und wählt dort das TIFF Format aus, gab es keine Option, um mehrseitige TIFF Dateien zu erzeugen. Diese Option ist nun vorhanden. Ist diese Option aktiviert, wird anstatt der Einzelblattspeicherung eine mehrseitige TIFF erzeugt.

Ghostscript erstellt PostScript- sowie PDF-Dateien und bereitet diese für Bildschirmansicht und Druck auf. Auch eine Konvertierung von PostScript-Dateien in PDF-Dokumente und gängige Bildformate ist mit dem Tool möglich. Die etwas umständliche Bedienung per Kommandozeile lässt sich mit grafischen Bedienoberlächen wie GSView oder GhostView umgehen. Ghostscript harmoniert prima mit FreePDF XP zum kostenlosen Erstellen von PDF-Dokumenten.

Bug im Speichern Dialog des Editors behoben

Wurden Bilder oder andere Dokumente nach PDF gewandelt, dann konnte es zu Problemen bei der Wahl des Dateinamens kommen, wenn bekannt Dateiendungen ausgeblendet sind. Der Benutzer hatte keine Möglichkeit die Endung .pdf zu wählen mit der Folge, das die Datei unter Windows nicht als PDF erkannt wurde. Das Problem ist beseitigt.
