Feature: PDF/X und PDF/A Unterstützung

Es wurde die Unterstützug für PDF/X und PDF/A integriert. Diese beiden Ausgabeformate können über den Speichern als... Dialog verwendet werden. Jedes dieser Formate besitzt einige Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, die zum entsprechenden Format vorgenommen werden können.
Feature: Markieren von Seiten im Editor verbessert

Es konnte bisher immer nur eine Seite nach der anderen selektiert werden. Bei Dateien mit vielen Seiten ist es sehr mühsam, mehrere Seiten zu selektieren, um sie z.b. aus dem Dokumente zu entfernen oder ein neues Dokument daraus zu erstellen. Hier wurde nachgebessert. Mit den Tasten STRG und LSHIFT kann man das Selektieren von Seitenbereichen steuern. Das Verhalten ist ähnlich dem Selektieren von Dateien im Windows Explorer. Markiert man eine Seite in einem Dokument und markiert man dann eine weitere Seite bei gedrückter LSHIFT-Taste, dann werden alle Seiten in diesem Bereich selektiert. Drückt man zusätzlich zur LSHIFT-Taste noch die STRG-Taste, dann wird der neue Seitenbereich selektiert und alle anderen selektierten Seiten bleiben ebenfalls selektiert.
Feature: PDF Ausgabeprofile können direkt im Assistenten ausgewählt werden

Im Speichern als Dialog können zu den Ausgabeformaten Profile angelegt werden, um für die Formate Voreinstellungen anzugeben. Werden Profile zum PDF Format angelegt, können diese Profile nun über die PDF Profilauswähl im Assistenten ausgewählt werden, ohne über den Speichern als Dialog gehen zu müssen. Dies beschleunigt einige Arbeitsschritte.
Feature: Assistent kann nach dem Speichern der Datei automatisch geschlossen werden

Über den Einstellungsbereich des PDF Creators können sie beeinflussen, ob sich der Assistent nach dem Speichern einer Datei automatisch schließen soll oder nicht. Diese Option kann das Arbeiten mit dem PDF24 Creator beschleunigen.
Verbesserung: Eingabefelder in einigen Oberflächen besitzen besseren Font

Bei einigen Eingabefeldern war ein Font gesetzt, der nicht zum Font der Oberfläche gepasst hat. Es wurden einige Kernkomponenten erweitert, um dieses Verhalten zu verbessern.
Verbesserung: Profilbestimmung beim Speichern eines Profils mit aufgenommen

Ein Profil hat nun eine Bestimmung zu einem bestimmten Dateiformat, in das der PDF24 Creator speichern kann. Bei einem Profilwechsel wird damit nun gleich das entsprechende Profil geöffnet, für das es bestimmt ist. Im Assistenten wird diese Eigenschaft genutzt, um zu den Standard PDF Profilen Benutzerprofile anzufügen.
Bugfix: Problem beim automatischen Konvertieren nach PDF beseitigt

Beim gleichzeitigen automatischen Konvertieren nach PDF konnten Probleme beim Konvertieren auftreten. Hierfür wurde eine Lösung entwickelt und integriert. Es ist nun möglich, mehrere Dokumente gleichzeitig problemlos zu konvertieren.
Bugfix: Signaturproblem bei einseitigen PDF Dokumenten behoben

Sollten einseitige PDF Dateien signiert werden, dann ist das Programm beim Signiervorgang abgestürzt. Dies war auf einen Programmfehler zurückzuführen. Der Bug wurde in dieser Version behoben. Einseitige PDF Dateien können nun ebenfalls wieder signiert werden.
Bugfix: Weboptimierung und Sicherheitseinstellungen bei der Speicherung als PDF ist problematisch

Werden bei der Speicherung als PDF Sicherheitseinstellungen und Weboptimierung angewendet, kam es zu Problemen, wenn bei den Sicherheitseinstellungen ein Passwort zum Öffnen einer PDF eingestellt wurde. Für dieses Problem gibt es in Version 2.9.0 einen Workaround. Werden Sicherheitseinstellungen mit Passwort zum Öffnen der PDF angewendet und soll diese PDF gleichzeitig weboptimiert werden, dann wird die Weboptimierung nicht durchgeführt. Diese Maßnahme wird in Zukunft noch verbessert und stellt aktuell nur eine Übergangslösung dar.
Bugfix: Einige Einstellungen wurden nicht immer berücksichtigt

Einigen Einstellungen wurden in bestimmten Programmmbereichen nicht korrekt berücksichtigt, was zu unerwünschtem Verhalten geführt hat. Dies ist nun behoben.
