Sie haben mehrere Präsentationen als PDF vorliegen und müssen daraus eine einzelne erstellen - jedes PDF in die Ursprungsdatei zurückzuverwandeln, anschließend zusammenzufügen und danach erneut zu konvertieren gestaltet sich als mühselig und zeitintensiv.

Die Freeware "PDF Split and Merge" kürzt den Prozess ab, indem es bereits existierende PDFs über nur wenige Mausklicks trennt oder zusammenfügt.

Optimierung: Liefert Ghostscript 9.22 mit aus

Der PDF24 Creator liefert nun Ghostscript 9.22 mit aus. Die neue Ghostscript-Version behebt viele Fehler. Änderungen in Ghostscript wirken sich oft immer auch auf den PDF24 Creator aus, denn für viel Operationen wird Ghostscript verwendet.

Optimierung: Annotationen beibehalten Option ist nun standardmäßig deaktiviert

Dieses Verhalten entspricht dem Verhalten von älteren Versionen. Ghostscript 9.21, welches mit dem PDF24 Creator 8.2.3 ausgeliefert wurde, hat mit aktivierter Option PDF Dateien generiert, in denen sich der Text nicht korrekt markieren ließ. Eine Deaktivierung der Option hat das Problem beseitigt, aber mit dem aktuellen Ghostscript 9.22 werden nun auch korrekte PDF Dateien generiert, wenn die Option aktiviert wird.

BugFix: Layout-Engine hatte Probleme mit unteren Rändern in Bezug auf die DPI Skalierung

War in Windows die DPI Skalierung auf > 100% eingestellt, dann wurden in einigen Oberflächen der unteren Rahmen von einigen Elemente nicht korrekt berechnet. Dieses Problem ist aus der Welt.

Optimierung: PDF24 Windows Dienst nach größerem Windows Update nicht mehr vorhanden

Bei größeren Windows Updates wird offenbar der PDF24 Windows Dienst entfernt. Windows deaktiviert anscheinend einige Dienste und setzt die Einstellung von Diensten zurück, wenn ein größeres Windows Update eingespielt wird.

Im Falle von PDF24 hat das dazu geführt, dass der PDF Drucker nicht mehr funktionierte und das sich der Dienst auch nicht mehr starten ließ, weil dieser nicht mehr vorhanden war. Die Hinweismeldung, dass der Dienst nicht aktiv ist, ist nun etwas intelligenter. Ist der Dienst nicht mehr vorhanden, dann wird versucht, den Dienst neu zu installieren, anstatt Ihn lediglich neu zu starten.
