Transmission is a cross-platform BitTorrent client that is:

Transmission differs from bigger clients like μTorrent, Vuze, and BitComet in that it is volunteer-based, open source, and noncommercial. There is no payware version as with Vuze Plus. We don't bundle toolbars, adware, DNA, or anything else. If we did, someone else would fork the project and strip it back out.
