Mit dem Tool WIA-Loader lassen sich Fotos von einer Kamera oder Speicherkarte auf den Computer übertragen und auf Wunsch auch gleich anhand flexibler Optionen umbenennen. Darüber hinaus vermag es auch die Bilder auf einen FTP-Server zu laden, einfache HTML-Fotoalben anzulegen sowie unter Windows XP die Kameras fernzusteuern. Außerdem geocodiert WIA-Loader die Bilder, indem es GPS-Daten, die als GPX-Dateien zur Verfügung stehen, in die EXIF-Header der Bilder einbettet. Zum problemlosen Ausführen des Tools wird das .NET-Framework 2.0 oder höher unter Windows benötigt. Mit dem Mono-Framework ist das Tool zudem auch unter Linux und Mac OS X lauffähig.

FastPhotoTagger is an application designed to help you open and preview images in order to  view, edit and set their tags and metadata. By defining abbreviations for the most common tag values, you can tag an image with a few keystrokes in a matter of seconds.

Here are some key features of "FastPhotoTagger":

    Slideshw:

    The space key may be used t tggle between play and pause.
    After the last slide when aut advancing, the slideshw nw lps back t the beginning. A brief alert is displayed when this happens. When nt aut advancing, the last slide remains n-screen.
    Audi and vide files may be played during slideshws by clicking the Play buttn n the slide r pressing the Enter key.
    Pressing the CTRL-F key suspends the slideshw and allws yu t edit the metadata f the current slide with the Fast Tagger. Upn clsing the Fast Tagger, the slideshw will resume.

    Keybard Shrtcuts:

    When input fcus is n the image panel and images are selected:

    The SPACE key starts a slideshw.
    Tbe CTRL-SPACE key starts a slideshw and autmatically plays audi and vide files when the slideshw is aut advancing.

    Search Database:

    Search has been re-implemented in a fashin cmpatible with the search in Andrid FastPhtTagger. This search is much easier t use fr simple searches and als scales up fr mre cmplex searches.
    The ld versin f search is still available thrugh "Prgram Settings / ther / Use legacy search." Previusly saved search files may nly be used with legacy search.
    Search files saved with the new search may nly be used with the new search. Search files are cmpatible with Andrid FastPhtTagger v3.4.
    A "Help" buttn has been added t the Search windw t shw simple examples. The Users Guide and tutrial vide have been updated t further explain the new search facility.
    A "Recent Searches" buttn has been added t shw the histry f searches perfrmed. A recent search may be laded with a buttn click. The recent search list is cmpatible with Andrid FastPhtTagger v3.4.
    When sharing search files and search histry with Andrid FastPhtTagger, use the same metadata fields in Settings. The Settings Exprt/Imprt peratins make it easy t mve settings between devices.
    The pssible number f recent search files in the "Current Search File" drp dwn menu has increased t 100.

    Change Srting Methd:

    Yu may nw perfrm a tw-level srt f the files in the pen flder. Fr example, srt by Cuntry then srt each cuntry by City.
    Additinally, yu may frce sme files t the tp f the srt by entering a text string cntained in their metadata. Fr example, srt by Cuntry and set Prmte=Spain t mve the Spain files t the tp.

    Keywrd Suggestins:

    Lnger lists f suggested keywrds are nw shwn in a scrllable drp dwn list. Suggestins are nw triggered by all wrds in a multi-wrd keywrd.

    Change Fnt:

    Larger fnt sizes may nw be selected. The main windw and secndary windws make better use f the fnt selectin.

    Tutrial Vides:

    A new vide abut finding misspelled r bad keywrds has been added.

    Fixes:

    When searching a hierarchical structure using "is cntained in" r "is nt cntained in", the keywrd had t match the case f the keywrd in the keywrd file.
    The vertical divider bar between the thumbnail panel and the metadata panel tended t drift t the left after several prgram invcatins.
    Full screen was nt prperly restred after exiting and restarting the prgram.
