PICOLAY 2018-11-17

Antwort #4066 am:

PICOLAY is a graphics utility that features the ability to perform various photo enhancements as well as permitting you to create 3D holograms.
For all the uses included with PICOLAY, it remains lightweight, but the small size is in no way an indication of its power. You can enhance your photos, generate MPO files (allows for any number of JPG files to be saved in an MPO file, but the most common use is for stereoscopic images), GIFs, and slideshows all derived via combined stacks of images.

Find.Same.Images.OK 1.37
«
Antwort #4067 am:
01 Dezember, 2018, 20:46 »
Sie können Find.Same.
Whats new:>>
Verbesserungen beim Dekodieren einiger Fotodateiformate in Find.Same.Images.OK
Kleine Feinabstimmung und allgemeine Optimierung.
Aktualisierung der Sprachdateien.
Unterstützung für Pfad Umgebungspfadvariablen.

JAlbum 17.1
«
Antwort #4070 am:
02 Dezember, 2018, 10:00 »
This software allows you to create nice-looking photo galleries for the Web. You simply select or drag and drop folders containing images or movie files onto JAlbum, and it creates thumbnails and HTML pages to publish your images as a gallery or as a picture slide show. The galleries are based on various templates, and their appearance can be further customized by advanced users. The application's additional features include support for IPTC/EXIF data, style sheets, lossless image manipulation, pluggable image filters, and a built-in FTP client.
Release Notes
News and Updates
Completely rewritten skin template parser. Potentially faster as templates are now parsed once to an internal object tree (Abstract Syntax Tree) and from there evaluated to final pages multiple times. The new parser not only caches the internal object tree, it also caches compiled scriptlets for scripting languages supporting this (JavaScript and Groovy. BeanShell doesn't compile well so far)
Introduced Groovy as scripting language. Note, this is still an experimental alpha. The sharp release is scheduled for Q1 2019. Read more here.
Update image reading library to TwelveMonkeys 3.5. Problematic CMYK JPEG images should now work again.
Adapted colors for Mac OS X Mojave
Now allows preview browser to be operated while building album
Removed obsolete "Local Flash preview" preference
Moved "Video support" to Preferences->Advanced (no need to touch for the vast majority)
Updated Korean translations for ZigZag, Mr.Burn5 and Responsive
Bug fixes
Problematic CMYK JPEG images should now work again
Adding some https web locations could cause an SSL handshake error
Fixed bug causing loss of skin project settings if loading skin while another skin is still loading
Fixed crash bug upon opening preview window on Mac OS X Mojave
Ensured that the text field specific undo stack is cleared when the user is about to edit titles, comments or keywords. Users can now safely hit CTRL/CMD+Z to undo without going past initial value
Known issues
Preview browser can occasionally hang while being operated on OS X Mojave. This is likely a bug in OS X Mojave or the underlying Java. We'll provide an update as soon as possible or trust that Apple's next service release fixes this.

Guietzli 1.1
«
Antwort #4072 am:
02 Dezember, 2018, 11:30 »
The Guetzli JPEG encoder developed by Google has numerous potential uses, as it can significantly reduce the file size of images while also producing high-quality results. However, the command-line tool provided by Google isn’t exactly novice-friendly.
Guietzli aims to offer a solution, in the form of an intuitive application that lets you take advantage of the encoder’s capabilities from an easy-to-use graphical user interface.
License: GPLv3

Moved to .NET Framework 4.5, to be compatible, the encoder download functionality, with TLS 1.2 which now used by GitHub

FastPhotoTagger 3.3
«
Antwort #4077 am:
03 Dezember, 2018, 17:30 »
FastPhotoTagger is an application designed to help you open and preview images in order to view, edit and set their tags and metadata. By defining abbreviations for the most common tag values, you can tag an image with a few keystrokes in a matter of seconds.
Here are some key features of "FastPhotoTagger":
· Set multiple images to have the same tag values
· Set individual images to have unique tag values
· Choose the metadata fields to work with
· Define abbreviations for the most common tag values
· Modify or undo tag changes before committing to image files
License : GPL
Changelog
Overflow Menu:
A menu button has been added in the top-left corner of the main application window next to the Current Folder. This button will be used to invoke commands that don't fit on or are not appropriate for the the left button bar. The initial contents of the overflow menu are "Change Thumbnail Size", "ExifTool Command Builder", and "Inspect Metadata".
Compare metadata:
A "Search" button has been added to the "Compare Metadata" screen. You may search for tag names or tag values. The search starts at the selected cell and wraps around the table. Search is case insensitive.
"Replace" and "Replace All" buttons have been added to Compare Metadata. You may replace one or all of the metadata values found by search. Replace and Replace All are case sensitive.
A "Filter" button has been added to the Compare Metadata screen. Use filter options to view all metadata tags or only tags related to your settings. View all metadata values or only values that differ in the selected files.
The thumbnails are now scaled when the horizontal divider bar is moved.
Inspect metadata:
An "Inspect Metadata" command has been added to the Overflow Menu. Inspect Metadata allows you to examine one tag's values in all selected files, e.g., look at just the keywords. You may edit, search, and replace metadata values. See the User Guide for more information. This is an ideal way to replace one keyword with another.
Image folder handling:
A Down folder navigation button has been added to the top of the FastPhotoTagger window. If the current folder has child folders you may navigate to them using this button.
Slideshow:
In "Program Settings / Slideshow" you may now choose to show multiple metadata values in a slideshow caption.
List tags:
List-type tags such as Keywords, Subject, and others are now always shown with a trailing semicolon even if there is only a single item. This makes typing easier to add a new item and prevents comparisons from failing when otherwise identical values differ only by the trailing semicolon.
Search Database:
The Metadata Explorer pane, at the bottom of the Search window, now displays keyword/list fields as semicolon-delimited and not as a simple word list.
Video and Audio Files:
Video and audio files may now be tagged. Please note that tagging large media files may take considerably longer than image files. Also note that relatively few metadata tags are supported. See ExifTool documentation.
Thumbnails are shown for video and audio files if FFMPEG is installed. Video and audio files may be played if VLC is installed. See Installation notes.
Program Look and Feel:
Many of the icons in the left button bar and on other screens have been revised. The order and meaning of the buttons has not changed.
The style of some of the windows, forms, and buttons has changed to be Java-default rather than system-default.
Windows users of High-Contrast Themes: Screens will look better if you execute FastPhotoTagger from the command line as follows:
java -jar FastPhotoTagger.jar -look com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows.WindowsLookAndFeel
Fixes:
Fixed: When running some newer versions of Java, the "Search Metadata" button was unresponsive.
Fixed: Large thumbnails in the Compare Metadata table were cropped.
Fixed: Sorting the Compare Metadata table seemed to undo metadata changes. (It didn't.)
Fixed: The navigation buttons at the top of the window now are inactive (dim) when they can't be used.
Fixed: The Pending Changes window was sometimes slow to update after writing changes to disk.
Fixed: Opening the Fast Tagger window activated the Save button even if no changes were made.
Fixed: The metadata choices in "Program Settings / Slideshow" were not updated when "Program Settings / Metadata" changed.
Fixed: Slide shows were never shown on a secondary display. They will now show on the display running FastPhotoTagger.
