Enigma Virtual Box erstellt portable Softwareversionen von Anwendungen, die normalerweise eine Installation erfordern. Die Freeware packt einfach alle für die Ausführung einer Anwendung benötigten Daten, Verknüpfungen, Laufzeitbibliotheken oder Registry-Einträge in eine so genannte Box. Hat Enigma Virtual Box die App erst einmal "eingetütet", lässt sie sich wie eine portable Software beispielsweise per USB-Stick auf jedem Rechner ohne Installation starten.

Enigma Virtual Box macht Windows-Anwendungen in wahrsten Sinne des Wortes mobil. Mit der Freeware behandelte Apps können wie normale portable Software beliebig auf andere PCs kopiert und gestartet werden. Damit Enigma Virtual Box korrekt arbeitet, muss man dem Helfer beim Start Administratorenrechte einräumen.

WinToFlash starts a wizard that will help pull over the contents of a windows installation CD or DVD and prep the USB drive to become a bootable replacement for the optical drive. It can alsow do this with your LiveCD. You don't have to worry about scratches on the disc or misplacing your original media discs once you transfer their contents to the flash drive. The optical drive is quickly becoming a thing of the past, especially in office environments, as media is shifted to the cloud.

    Improve support for very long files names and filenames with Unicode characters.

    After wiping free space, eliminate spurious error message "no such file or directory."
    Add support for environment variables: commonappdata, localappdata, music, pictures, video, documents. They are already used in Winapp2.ini, and they can be used in CleanerML too.
    Fix support for %DOCUMENTS%.
    Add label for Windows Store section in Winapp2.ini.
    Expand system log cleaning to %WINDIR%\SoftwareDistribution (thanks to cfoellmann).
    In the cleaner System - Temporary Files whitelist %TEMP%\Low to avoid causing problems with printing from Internet Explorer (reported by Stewart).
    When cleaning Windows Explorer - Most Recenty Used avoid causing the recently-used application list in the Start menu to not accumulate new history.
    Fix decoding of exception messages to avoid crash during startup (reported by goingoin).

grepWin durchstöbert Dateien und Ordner nach komplexen Begriffen und regulären Ausdrücken. Die Freeware ersetzt auf Wunsch automatisch alle Suchtreffer auf einen Schlag.

Die Suchergebnisse werden in Listenform angezeigt. Ein Doppelklick auf die gewünschte Datei öffnet diese. Die Suche lässt sich mit grepWin mit diversen Parametern auf bestimmte Dateien eingrenzen. Häufig gesuchte Ausdrücke kann der Anwender als so genanntes Bookmark abspeichern. So lassen sich wiederkehrende Suchen mit ein paar Klicks erneut ausführen.
