PhotoFiltre ist ein vollwertiges Bildbearbeitungsprogramm mit über 100 Filter und Effekten. Es beherrscht neben den verbreiteten Bild-Formaten GIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, ICO, TIF usw. auch PCD (Photo-CD), PSD (Photoshop), PSP (Paintshop Pro) sowie JPEG2000-Bilder. Für das Abspeichern stehen u.a. die Formate JPG, BMP, GIF, TIF und PNG zur Auswahl. Sie können mehrere Bilder gleichzeitig bearbeiten.

Die Fenster lassen sich zur besseren Übersicht horizontal oder vertikal nebeneinander platzieren. Die vielseitige Palette an Zeichenwerkzeugen sollte für den Hobbygrafiker völlig ausreichen. Einige zusätzliche Plugins werden auf der Homepage zum Download angeboten. Die entpackten Dateien kopieren Sie in den PhotoFiltre-Unterordner 'Plugins'. Zugriff auf Plugins erhalten Sie im Datei-Menü über 'Import'. Zu den Plugins gehört z.B. eine sehr gute Screenshot-Funktion (Capture.zip). Das Plugin ImpGifAnim.zip erlaubt das Extrahieren von Frames aus animierten GIF-Dateien.

The primary reason for this release is that the problems which plagued 2.6.4 on Microsoft Windows have been resolved.

Between 2.6.4 and 2.6.5, the following bugfixes were accomplished:

Bug #736359 - Date of 0000-00-00 in MySQL backend crashes GnuCash.
Bug #737815 - Graphs Cannot Be Generated Correctly.
 Bug #738113 - Crash on reload budget report.
Bug #738477 - WebKit is broken on Win32.
Bug #741418 - Freeze unposting bill, 100% cpu usage.
Some other fixes not associated with reported bugs were accomplished:

Pre-compile scm files when building with guile 2.
Fix build-time hard-coded path introduced by the guile2 compile changes.
Prevent crash when standards-report dir doesn't exist.
QIF Import crashes when closing via the 'X' button on the last page.
Omit file extension on calls to load-extension.
Use one common base directory to store all scheme files and modules.
Guile module structure cleanup.
Harmonize variable names used to refer to guile modules in all makefiles.
Add missing comma in call to gtk_tree_store_set(). Thanks to Frédéric Bière for finding and fixing the problem.
Revert to using numerical indexes for the x-axis on bar charts.
Aqbanking: Add display of aqbanking subaccountid in initial correspondence setup.
Aqbanking online SEPA transfer: Allow transfers without BIC, only IBAN. Also add IBAN checking.
Aqbanking transfer: Make IBAN and BIC text entry fields filter digits or alphas correctly as needed.
Adapt german SKR03 account template to updated tax rate.
Allow GUILE1_PROGS as m4 name. Patch by dimstar@opensuse.org.
Add sv_AX, sv_FI, zh_HK, and zh_TW to Makefiles & configure.

JPEGView is a viewer/editor for JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TIFF images. It is designed to view images from digital cameras full screen and with highest quality possible. Basic image editing functionality is provided - allowing to correct typical problems as color cast, high/low contrast and under- or overexposure very quickly and interactively during review of the images. JPEGView does not replace a full blown image editor - such an editor will just be needed less often.

Set current image as desktop wallpaper
You can either set the original image (in Windows XP only BMP is supported) or the processed image as displayed.
The later is using also the size as displayed.

Other changes

Removed 'Edit global settings' menu entry. This has led to confusion as users unintentionally edit the global

Batch rename dialog: Supporting %h and %min placeholders for hour and minute of modification date

The Hyperlink patch from NuTTY (http://groehn.net/nutty/) was included into KiTTY a long time ago.
This patch was "buggy" !
the specific regular expression managment functions have a memory leak
the default regex was not right
In certain conditions, software crashes may occur.
We finally decided to rewrite the regex managment functions, using GNU libregex.a library. In the same time we modify the default regex with a more efficient once.
We also provide a new option -hyperlinkfix to generate a .reg file in order to change the regex in all sessions settings for people who save the previous buggy one.

Beside these modification we also fix some minor issues:

bug fix: "Window has Close button" option did not work at startup, but only after reconfiguration
bug fix: into registry file kitty.sav (auto saving of the KiTTY registry content), REG_DWORD type fields were not saved correctly
