The Chrome team is delighted to announce the promotion of Chrome 38 to the stable channel for Windows, Mac and Linux. Chrome 38.0.2125.101 contains a number of fixes and improvements, including:

Chromium is a browser that uses the same code base as Google Chrome. Chromium is similar to Chrome except with the omission of some components including Google's brand, auto-update mechanism, RLZ identifier, and bundling of Adobe Flash Player and of a PDF viewer.

Chromium Portable is a custom-built version of the dev channel of the Chromium web browser. It is packaged in the PortableApps.com Format and optimized for portable use, supports jPortable and includes some modifications from the vanilla Chromium, like support for the Do Not Track opt-out specification.
