Mit der Lupo Pensuite steht eine mächtige Alternative zur PortableApps-Suite bereit. Mehr als 200 Programme und Verweise auf Online-Dienste enthält sie in ihrer größten Variante, von Firefox über den Multimediaplayer VLC und das Packprogramm 7-Zip bis hin zu System- und Netzwerkhelferlein wie KiTTY. In vielen Kategorien wartet die Lupo-Suite gleich mit zweien oder mehr Programmen auf. So enthält sie unter anderem auch den Browser Opera. 200 MByte ist der Download groß, 300 MByte belegt die Suite auf dem Stick. Die kleinere, "Lite"-Variante mit weniger Dubletten belegt immerhin noch 100 MByte.

Anders als das PortableApps-Paket enthält die Lupo-Suite nicht OpenOffice, sondern die Textverarbeitung AbiWord Plus, die Tabellenkalkulation Gnumeric und den Organizer Essential PIM. OpenOffice lässt sich aber – wie Hunderte anderer Anwendungen auch – von der Homepage nachladen. Mit der Zero-Version des Pakets, die nur den Launcher enthält, kann man sich eine individuelle Stick-Suite zusammenstellen. Der mehrsprachige Launcher lässt sich vielseitig anpassen, etwa mit Skins. Der Installer richtet, falls vorhanden, die deutschen Versionen der Anwendungen ein. Alles in allem erscheint Lupo Pensuite insbesondere in der großen Version überladen. Andererseits tun 300 MByte Stick-Platz nicht weh, und es kann immer mal praktisch sein, eine so vielseitige Suite zur Hand zu haben.

Release notes

PeaZip 3.0 offers better system integration on Windows, with context menu entries capable of handling multiple input in a single instance of the program, and the capability of re-configuring the system integration (file associations, menu entries) from Options > Settings.
Separate icons are featured for most common archive types (7z, bz2, gz, rar, zip), and for generic archives, split files, packages, and disk images.
On extraction, the archive is now tested for encryption in a much more faster way, and during operations more information about the job's progress and speed is shown.
It is now available "Ask before overwriting" mode in extraction options, allowing to respond interactively in case files with same name exists in destination, alongside all previously available policies about naming conflicts on extraction: skip (which is now the default), rename extracted, rename existing, and overwrite.
A total of 123 file extensions are now supported.

Wisterer steht für (Windows Termin Erinnerer).

Wisterer ist Freeware.Es kostet also nichts und kann von jedem ohne Einschränkungen benutzt werden.Als Vorbild diente das Programm Termine von Thomas F. Sturm (ein DOS-Programm).

Wisterer hat drei Hauptfunktionen:

   1. Kalender:

          * sechs verschiedene Ansichten (Standardansicht, Listenansicht, Tagesansicht, Wochenansicht, Monatsansicht, Jahresansicht)
          * Berechnungen (Alter einer Person am Geburtstag, wieviele Tage seit/bis zu einem Datum, Sonnenaufgang, Mondaufgang, etc)
          * Terminwiederholungen (täglich, wöchentlich, monatlich, jährlich) auch speziell, wie z.b. 'erstes Wochenende im Monat)
          * Alarmfunktion

          * Aufgaben als spezielle Termine
