- Redesigned contacts window:Contact merging: If you talk to the same person on multiple IM networks, you can now combine that person's usernames from each network into a single contact. When opening a new chat, the username that is online will be chosen au- Tags: Tags will be used to replace the groups in the buddy list. Tags can be hidden by clicking the "x" on the right side of the buddy list, all buddies from this tag will go into an "Other Contacts" tag automatically, which is shown at the bottom of the- The contacts window can now be ...closed on Mac without quitting Instantbird; it can be reopened from the Dock- Minimized to tray on Windows and Linux. The Stable channel has been updated to 21.0.1180.79 for Mac, Linux, Windows and Chrome FrameThis build fixes a security issue with Adobe Flash. You can read more about this in Adobe's Security Bulletin.
In Opera 12 we introduced out of process plugins to try to reduce the number of times plugins take Opera down. We now see that some Windows users are from time to time experiencing Opera freezing on pages with plug-in content. The issue has been investigated and we found the best short term solution to get Opera at a quality level we are comfortable with is to temporarily remove out of process plugins until we have a proper fix.As these issues are not appearing on Mac and Linux, and as 64 bit Windows needs out of process plugins to run 32 bit plugins we will only do this for 32 bit Windows.Please notify us if you find any regressions from 12.01.
