Daphne is a small (system tray) application for killing, controlling and debugging Windows' processes. It was born to kill a windows process and became almost a task manager replacement. Daphne requires admin rights to run.

Features

You can kill a process by dragging the mouse over the windows, by right-clicking the process in the main process list, or by typing its name with the "Kill all by name" command. You can set a any window to be always on top, to be transparent, to be enable, et cetera. Although Daphne was born just to kill windows process. You can think of Daphne as a task manager replacement. The main window displays a list of currently running process with detailed information about: CPU usage, Process ID, Process name, Full path (and arguments), Priority, Class (Process / Service), Current memory usage, Peek memory usage, Current swap usage, Peek swap usage and Number of threads.

Achtung, Hinweis:

Bei mir zerlegt die 12.0 Version nach und nach die Datenbankstruktur des von 11.0.1 hinüber kopierten Profils.
Aus Dateien der Art xyz.sbd werden plötzlich Ordner XYZ.SBD und darin Dateien XYZ.SBD.sbd, ganz ähnliches passiert mit .msf
Datenverluste sind die Folge.

Und nein, hier war nicht gerade scandisk am Werk. Auch sonst keinerlei Auffälligkeiten, weder jetzt noch früher.
Allerdings ist für die portablen Anwendungen eine FAT32 Partition von 31,9 GB im Einsatz.
Die werde ich natürlich im Anschluss noch einmal untersuchen. Nicht jetzt, weil sie ja gerade in Gebrauch ist.

Statt dessen habe ich eben auf einem zweiten Rechner mit denselben portablen Datensätzen aber natürlich mit einem anderen Datenträger gegengeprüft, dito...

Keine Ahnung, woran das nun liegt, oder ob die normale Version auch betroffen ist.  

Daher habe ich nun meine Sicherung von 11.0.1 reaktiviert und bleibe bis auf weiteres dabei.

Auch möchte ich erst genau wissen, was der TestPilot Blödsinn soll, der offenbar zu 12.0 gehört, mitsamt einem Ordner "TestPilotExperimentFiles" und einem logfile.
Letzteres habe ich mal als Zip angehängt. Lediglich einen darin enthaltenen Pfad habe ich vorher entschärft.

Für mich stinkt das, ganz subjektiv und instinktiv, aber gewaltig...

Wie erwartet, keine Probleme auf der FAT32 Partition zu finden.

Habe nun von 11.0.1 zu 13.0.1 aktualisiert, mit der altüblichen Methode "erst Backup machen, dann drüberbügeln".
(Bislang) keine Probleme mehr feststellbar.
Und der "Testpilot" ist auch nicht wieder aufgetreten 

Werde das Backup von 11.0.1 trotzdem zunächst aufbewahren.

Juice is a podcast receiver that will download and manage your podcast subscriptions. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free. Juice allows you to download and manage your various podcast subscriptions. It has a large built-in directory of podcasts (though some are no longer active). You can play a downloaded podcast directly in Windows Media Player.

By default, Juice will save your podcasts to JuicePortable\Data\Downloaded Podcasts. You can alter this directory in the options. It should be noted that while you are downloading and saving files to a USB flash drive, performance of other portable apps will slow.
