Synopsis: PaperBack lets you back up files to ordinary paper in the form of the oversized bitmaps. If you have a good laser printer with the 600 dpi resolution, you can save up to 500KB of uncompressed data on a single A4/Letter sheet. With integrated compression, up to 3MB can be stored on one sheet of A4/Letter paper. For data restoration, you will need a scanner with physical resolution that is 3-times the print resolution.

Synopsis: ShowMyPC combines VNC remote access technology with an open-source SSH forwarding client to provide you with the ability to allow other users to view and control your desktop. The remote user needs to have the same ShowMyPC software and can access your computer with just a password (no IP address needed). The temporary session password is automatically generated when you start the viewing session and must be provided to the remote user by email, phone or other means. If you have access to your own SSH server, you can use it instead of the one provided.

Synopsis: Core Temp lets you monitor CPU temperature using the DTS (Digital Thermal Sensor) on Intel Core/Core 2 and AMD Athlon64 series of CPUs. This provides more accurate temperature reading than the standard thermal diode sensors. It also displays the temperature of each individual core in each processor. Core Temp also has a logging feature, which allows a user to easily record the temperature of his processor(s) over any period of time.
