One of the main directions of this version is localization:

    most of the text used by the default plug-ins is now translatable
    landscape names are now translatable
    country names are now translatable
    scripts names and descriptions are now translatable

Oculars plug-in:

    added an optional control panel displayed in the upper-right corner of the screen as an alternative to the pop-up menu that was used to control it in the previous version;
    overhaul of the pop-up menu, the underlined letters in it can be used as keyboard shortcuts;
    added the ability to rearrange the items in the lists of oculars, telescopes and sensors;
    fixed the inappropriate flipping of the binoculars view;

Satellites plug-in:

    fixed title bar of the Satellites config window not being resized with the rest of the window (LP: #900575)
    catalog numbers are now used to identify satellites, preventing bugs with duplicate satellites and satellites renamed in the source lists
    catalog number and international designator are now displayed for each satellite

What’s new in Foxit Reader 5.3
Foxit  Reader  5.3  has  new  features which will enhance  the  reading
quality of PDFs. Several major bugs from the previous versions have
been fixed.   
 
1.  Supports reading PDF files protected by RMS with the dynamic watermark. 
2.  Added the option of “Tile Large Pages” to the print dialog box. With this new
feature, users can tile pages that are larger than the selected paper size at
a specified scale. The whole page content will be divided and printed  on
specified sheets of paper .
3.  Provides users with three update options, allowing users to select the most
appropriate upgrade method according to their requirements.
4.  Automatically changes the hand tool to the text select tool after moving the
cursor to the text content.The features are the same with the text select
tool’s.
5.  Supports controlling preference dialogue with the keyboard shortcuts.
 
Improvements
 
1.  Added the option “Read from Current Page” to the Read Out Loud feature.
This makes the system read out the PDF content from the current page to
the end of the file.
2.  Improved the user interface elements, including arrow comment , Facebook
interface, etc.
3.  Added the toolbar mode switch icon to the toolbar, simplifying user’s
manipulation.
4.  Shows the progress bar before displaying the content when opening PDFs in
a web browser.
5.  Improves the accuracy of highlight location, enabling the highlighted area to
agree with the target text.
6.  Places the toolbar in Full Screen mode in the previously set location.
7.  Supports using arrowheads to switch file tabs when opening mult iple PDF
files. This is convenient for users when the tabs cannot be arranged in a row.

    BMesh

    BMesh is the new Blender mesh system with full support for N-sided polygons instead of only triangles and quads.
    In particular there is a new Dissolve tool to remove vertices, edges and faces without making holes in the mesh, a new Inset tool to inset faces, and a much improved Knife tool which takes advantage of N-gons to generate clear cuts. Tools such as subdivide and loop cut will also generate clean topology because faces no longer have to be triangulated.

    Cycles

    Among the features added in this release are support for a panoramic camera, mirror ball environment textures, render layer mask layers, a shadow render pass, ambient occlusion, float precision textures, and viewport display of background images and render layers.

    Motion Tracker

    Motion tracking got a few smaller improvements, mostly related to 2D stabilization and a few smaller tools.

    Sculpt Hiding

    Portions of the mesh can now be hidden in sculpt mode to improve performance and access parts of the mesh that would otherwise be difficult to access.

    More Features

    Other new features in this release include Movie Clip option for the Sequencer, a compositing node to output multiple files at once or multilayer EXR files, new tools for linking and detaching nodes, more particle rotation options, theme support for cameras and empties, and Linux support for drag n' drop from external applications.

    Addons

    Various options were added to imports and exporters, an Atomic Blender PDB exporter was added, and Renderfarm.fi now supports Cycles.

    Bug Fixes

    This release was mainly focused on stabilizing BMesh, but also includes 150 fixes for bugs that existed in previous releases.

Listary is an enhancement that allows you to quickly search almost any listing in Windows by simply typing your search terms. The program will pop up a small, semi-transparent window in Explorer windows (including open/save dialogs), Task Manager, Registry Editor, and even directly on your desktop. The program works with almost any application with a system-generated list.

Although some programs will automatically jump to the first letter you type (a find-as-you-type feature of Windows Explorer), you must type quickly for more than one letter and cannot see your output. Listary brings a long-time feature of Linux to Windows, letting you enter whole words, and type slower with automatic changes. Additionally, it allows wildcards and has the ability to edit your input with immediate results.

Advanced features include hotkeys, autocomplete, blacklists, favorites, a customizable window. Note that the program contains many "pro"-only features, but the program is very functional in its basic version.
