This release candidate is only for testing on Windows, since it fixes an issue only found in Windows. In addition, at the time of going live only x64 had been built. However, when Vivaldi 5.7 is released to the stable stream officially there will be a full set of builds for all platforms, including Windows x86, Linux and macOS.

This new Opera build is based on Chromium 110.0.5481.77. It includes improvements for the Video Pop-out window and fixes some installer issues for Windows 7/8.1 users.

Also, #snapshot-full-page (beta) option is now enabled, so you’re welcome to test it out. It’s especially useful for those who want to take a full-page top-to-bottom screenshot that includes all parts, both within the viewport and without. If you want to only capture the visible parts, use the button ‘Capture visible page‘.

We’re pleased to announce that Opera 96 has now been released on the Stable branch! This new build is based on Chromium version 110.0.5481.100.

In this version the #snapshot-full-page option is turned on, so now you can enjoy making a full-page top-to-bottom screenshots. Also, it’s the first Stable build without Windows 7/8.1 support.
