Hello everyone,

Today we’re updating Opera developer with numerous fixes and improvements, many by request.

The build contains crash fixes, as well as several fixes connected with the sidebar setup panel and extensions. Some translation mistakes have been corrected. We’ve also fixed an issue with the bookmarks bar in fullscreen on Mac.

this is a new Opera beta build based on chromium 80.0.3987.100.

In this build we’re introduction video pop-out enhancements such as: a video timer on the popup, a back to tab button a next track button.

At Opera, we like to start each year with a Reborn release of our browser. The Reborn series allows us to keep challenging ourselves to do better. In Reborn 1, we introduced messengers in the sidebar, gave our browser more personality with dark and light themes, and implemented countless design updates. All of this was on top of our free, unlimited built-in browser VPN and ad blocker.

We’re happy to inform you that Opera 68 enters the beta stage today.

You’ll find some UI improvements, such as font changes and inconsistencies fixed when opening internal pages from the Easy setup menu in a private window. In addition there are some Video pop-out enhancements.

Chromium is updated to version 81.0.4040.5.

Known issues:

    Not possible to log into sync in browser.
    Crash on startup after update for some users
