Optional link previews are now supported for some of the most popular sites on the internet. Share a Reddit thread that makes you think, an Imgur GIF of a bad lip sync, a YouTube clip of Doctor Who in "Blink," or an Instagram photo of your friend's new ink. You can enable or disable sending link previews in your Signal settings on Android or iOS.
Although we can't fix the weak WiFi in the corner of your favorite coffee shop, we made the retry process work more reliably when you attempt to send a failed message again.
Text selection is now limited to message components. Accidentally highlighting the sidebar is a thing of the past.
We fixed a startup crash that was occurring for a few users.
This release includes major localization improvements for users who speak Albanian, Catalan, Czech, Dutch, Norwegian, and Spanish. We sincerely appreciate the volunteer translators whose efforts made this possible.
