PREDATOR locks your PC when you are away, even if your Windows session is still opened. It uses a regular USB flash drive as an access control device, and works as follows:

you insert the USB drive
you run PREDATOR (autostart with Windows is possible)
you do your work...
when you're away from your PC, you simply remove the USB drive:
- once it is removed, the keyboard and mouse are disabled and the screen darkens
when you return back to your PC, you put the USB flash drive in place:
- keyboard and mouse are immediately released, and the display is restored.

Keine Lust mehr bei der Anmeldung ein Passwort einzutragen? Hier könnte KeyLemon helfen.

Einmal eingerichtet, übernimmt eine Gesichtserkennung die Anmeldung an das Betriebssystem (eine Web-Cam muss natürlich vorhanden sein). Veränderungen des Gesichts durch kleinere Verletzungen oder einem 3-Tage-Bart sind für die Software kein Problem. Sollte ein Unbefugter versuchen, den Rechner zu starten, bleibt der Desktop gesperrt und es wird ein Foto geschossen. Ebenfalls ist es möglich, das Programm so einzustellen, das im laufenden Betrieb überprüft wird, ob man noch vor dem Rechner sitzt. Sollte das nicht der Fall sein, wird der Rechner bis zur Rückkehr automatisch gesperrt.

Es gibt für den Firefox ein Plugin, welches die Anmeldung für Facebook und Twitter übernimmt (nur für 32-bit Systeme).
