Date Reminder alerts you to both recurring and nonrecurring events, like birthdays, bills to pay, appointments etc. The reminders are listed in chronological order. Reminders can be marked "done", i.e. "dealt with". Past events will remain in the list until they are marked "done". An advance notice marker can be set a number of days before an event.

Zusätzlich bringt die Software noch ein Notizblock, ein Passwortmanager und -generator, sowie ein Adressbuch mit. Die Daten von In My Diary können auf Wunsch verschlüsselt werden, so das ein verlorener USB-Stick nicht ganz so ärgerlich ist. Der Im- und Export von iCalendar und vCard ist möglich, so das man seine Daten auch mit anderen Programmen synchron halten kann. Im Download ist eine Hilfedatei enthalten, die über das Programm aufgerufen werden kann.
