It is small and mobile to download or move around and can also be used or setup as a production/live server. Developers also use The Uniform Server to test their applications made with either PHP, MySQL, Perl, or the Apache HTTPd Server.

WebPageStat analysiert Webserver-Protokolle und zeigt die Zugriffe als HTML-Seite an.

Der HTML-Report zeigt unter anderem die Zugriffe auf Dateien (Seiten, Bilder und sonstige Dateien), Zugriffe von Betriebssystemen, Mobilgeräten, Webbrowsern und diverse Robots, z.B. von Suchmaschinen an.

Es werden auch sicherheitsrelevante Zugriffe bzw. Zugriffsversuche (Angriffsversuche) ausgegeben.

WebPageStat unterstützt Text- und mit GNU-Zip komprimierte Webserver-Protokolle z.B. von Apache oder IIS. Dank des anpassbaren Formats können auch anders formatierte Protokolle verwendet werden.

Die zu sammelnden Informationen können mit XML-Dateien individuell angepasst werden. Die Ausgabe der gesammelten Informationen erfolgt auf Grund einer Vorlagen, wodurch unterschiedliche Ausgabeformate möglich sind.

•    Die Benutzeroberfläche ist jetzt auch in Deutsch verfügbar. Eine deutschsprachige Hilfedatei wurde ebenfalls hinzugefügt.
•    Es können jetzt beliebige Protokollzeilen, oder Teile davon, in eine oder mehrere Dateien exportiert werden. Zum Beispiel zum Exportieren von bestimmten Statuscodes, unbekannten Dateien, nicht erkannte User-Agents etc. Die Dateien können im Report direkt geöffnet werden.
•    Der Ordner für die Benutzerdateien kann jetzt über das Menü "View" geöffnet werden, um beispielsweise die Export-Dateien schneller öffnen zu können.
•    In den Einstellungen kann die Sammlung und Ausgabe der Informationen für Hosts (IP-Adressen) getrennt deaktiviert werden, was bei sehr großen bzw. vielen Protokolldateien nützlich ist.
•    Die Erkennung von Mobilgeräten wurde erweitert.
•    Die Erkennung von sicherheitsrelevanten Einträgen wurde erweitert.

AMPPS installiert eine Webserver-Laufzeitumgebung mit einer riesigen Auswahl an Web-Anwendungen. AMPPS ist ein lokales Server-Paket inklusive Apache-Webserver, MySQL-Datenbank, PHP, Perl – und mehr als 250 Web-Anwendungen. Damit lassen sich zum Beispiel erste Schritte in einem neuen Content Management System (CMS) unternehmen oder Designs ausprobieren. Für den Produktivbetrieb eignet sich AMPPS nicht – der Rechner, auf dem es läuft, sollte tunlichst nicht von außen zugänglich sein. Nach der Installation startet man den Apache-Server und die MySQL-Datenbank über ein kleines Applet.

TheSSS has been designed for system admins who need a lightweight (TheSSS LiveCD is less than 30MB in size) set of server software for small Local Area Networks. The supported servers are: FTP, HTTP, SFTP, SSH, and Telnet. A proxy server (Polipo) with Tor anonymizer is also included. The main security components are 4MLinux Firewall (based on iptables) and Clam AntiVirus. TheSSS iso images are fully compatible with UNetbootin, which can be used to create an easy-to-use TheSSS Live USB.

Abyss Web Server is a full-featured web server with a small footprint. HFS (HTTP File Server) is a great tool for sharing files on any device with a web browser. Just setup the program, add files and folders via drag and drop, and connect to the web address. The web view is an easy-to-navigate page that provides search, a variety of view options, and even the capability to download files and folders in a single archive (TAR format).

Other features include user controls, uploading, speed limits, transfer logs, "expert" view, and IP bans. Note that to make the program available over the internet, a dynamic DNS-type service may be necessary.

Functional in Linux under WINE.
