Nach diversen Vorabversionen ist der kostenlose Bildbetrachter, -verwalter und –konvertierer in der neuen finalen Version 1.90 erschienen. Mit an Bord: Viele Neuerungen und Verbesserungen.

Xnview ist in der Version 1.90 erschienen. Der Entwickler hat sich nochmals ins Zeug gelegt und dem leistungsfähigen Gratis-Tool diverse Verbesserungen und Neuerungen spendiert. Dazu zählt beispielsweise die Unterstützung von MP3-ID-Tags und ein neuer Drucken-Dialog. Außerdem kann mit der neuen Version auch innerhalb von Archiv-Dateien (Zip, Ace, Rar, Cab, 7Zip, Sqx) navigiert werden.

Wer Xnview nicht kennt: Das Tool verarbeitet mehr als 400 Grafikformate und kann jede Bilddatei in über 50 Grafikformate konvertieren. Hinzu kommen grundlegende Bildbearbeitungsfunktionen, eine Twain- und Druck-Unterstützung und das bequeme Erstellen von Dia-Shows. Wer in einem Rutsch viele Bilder konvertieren möchte, der kann zur Batch-Konvertierung greifen, mit deren Hilfe die Bilder beispielsweise auch gleich an die gewünschte Größe angepasst werden können.

Der kostenlose Bildbetrachter, -verwalter und –konvertierer Xnview ist in der neuen Version 1.92.1 erschienen.

Xnview steht ab sofort in der neuen Version 1.92.1 zum Download bereit. Zunächst einmal wurden in der neuen Version diverse Bugs behoben, die zum Teil Nutzer des Gratis-Tools gemeldet hatten. Aber auch neue Funktionen haben ihren Weg in die Version gefunden. So ist es jetzt beispielsweise möglich, Bildern Wasserzeichen hinzuzufügen, ohne den Alpha-Kanal nutzen zu müssen.

Ebenfalls neu ist die Art und Weise, wie Xnview Bilder auf Wunsch rotieren lässt: Statt das gesamte Bild rotieren zu lassen, wird nun einfach in den EXIF-Daten der Wert für die Orientierung geändert, wodurch die Rotation des Bildes ohne Qualitätsverluste erfolgt.

Mit Version 1.96.2 kann XnView eine Reihe neuer Formate lesen. Zudem haben die Entwickler Fehler beim Aufrufen von Dateien, beim Umbenennen von Verzeichnissen sowie beim Speichern von IPTC-Informationen behoben.
