GhostHand zeichnet beliebige Aktionen mit Maus oder Tastatur auf und spielt sie zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erneut ab. Dank dieser Arbeitsweise beschleunigt der kostenlose kleine Helfer oft ausgeführte Operationen am Rechner erheblich.

Dabei gestaltet sich die Handhabung der Geisterhand denkbar einfach: Vor dem manuellen Ausführen der betreffenden Aktion drückt der Anwender die F9-Taste. Anschließend startet GhostHand die Aufzeichnung. Zum Beenden der Aufnahme dient der erneute Druck auf F9.

Die aufgenommenen Maus- oder Keyboard-Befehle legt GhostHand nach dem Zuweisen eines Namens in einer übersichtlichen Liste ab, von der aus sie zu jedem Zeitpunkt aufgerufen werden können. Interessanterweise erfasst der Rekorder nicht nur die Aktionen als solche, sondern vollzieht einzelne Schritte auf dem Keyboard sowie Mausklicks nach. Leider lässt die Freeware einen Editor zum nachträglichen Bearbeiten der Aufzeichnungen vermissen.

Balabolka is a feature-rich program to read text aloud from a variety of file types including DOC, RTF, PDF, ODT, FB2 and HTML. The program uses Microsoft's own Speech API 4 and 5, but lets you fine tune various voice parameters, including rate and pitch, and a substitution list can also be applied to improve the quality of the voice's articulation. The program supports customized font and background color, skins, control reading from the system tray or by the global hotkeys.

Balabolka can also save the synchronized text to external LRC files or in MP3 tags inside the audio files. When the audio file is played with players on a computer or on modern digital audio players, the text will be displayed synchronously (in the same way as lyrics for songs).
