Listary is an enhancement that allows you to quickly search almost any listing in Windows by simply typing your search terms. The program will pop up a small, semi-transparent window in Explorer windows (including open/save dialogs), Task Manager, Registry Editor, and even directly on your desktop. The program works with almost any application with a system-generated list.

Although some programs will automatically jump to the first letter you type (a find-as-you-type feature of Windows Explorer), you must type quickly for more than one letter and cannot see your output. Snipaste is an easy screen capture and image edition program, especially useful for detecting windows and menus, supporting pixel-level control. Both captured images and various clipboard content can be pasted as a floating window to the desktop. Windows can be moved, organized into groups, saved to file, as well as basic editions like rotation, zoom, translucence, etc.

The program can grab colors, supports themes, and includes multi-screen support. The default keys (which can be customized) are F1 for Snip and F2 for Paste.

MultiPar is a parchive (PAR Archive) program that allows you to create par checksum files for data verification, error detection, correction and recovery.

It's best used in cases where you need 100% of your data to remain intact, but you don't want to duplicate all of your data to provide redundancy.

Using MultiPar, you can create a PAR Archive of your data that can substitute for any other section of missing data. PAR, PAR2 and (experimental) PAR3 formats are supported.

For example you have 500MB of data in files of multiple sizes (or in one big file). You want to back up this data to a 650MB CD, but also want to guard against data corruption. You can create 150MB of PAR Archive files to also store on the disc. If any of the data on the disc becomes corrupted (up to 150MB), MultiPar can recover the original 500MB from the remaining uncorrupted data.

Another use is in sending files when you're unsure that your transmission method will send 100% of the data. For example, you're sending files to the Mars Rover (or your friend Steve who has a flaky data plan that times out mid-stream) and want to be sure that the Mars Rover (or Steve) got all of the files. You can create PAR2 recovery files so that the Mars Rover (or Steve) can verify it (he) received all the data, and can recover some of the data without having to ask you to "send the 3rd file again."

This is monthly update, which fixes some minor bugs. I got trouble on my LCD display or cable or graphics board in these hot days, as it black out often. It seems to work after some power on/off or clean-up. Though other PC compornents may work, I backup data and release this latest version. So, I will be able to keep development later, even when I cannot use my PC temporary. Users won't suffer inconvenience.


I changed MultiPar's behavior about locked file. In previous versions, recovered file was deleted, if damaged file was locked and it failed to replace them. In this version, recovered file won't be deleted, and be saved as a temporary file. A user may rename the temporary file himself later. Or else, he needs to delete it, if it's not necessarily. If you see failed repair by locked file, you should check the directory of the damaged file.

I fixed bugs in my OpenCL implementation for AMD GPU or old CPU. If AMD GPU users see something problem at using GPU, please report the detail. When I cannot fix, just disable GPU acceleration.

When I backup my MP3 files and made PAR2 files, I found a display bug of Japanese filename. I fixed the problem, which happens only for multi-bytes character language like Japanese, Chinese, or Russian. When PAR2 client printed filenames too fast than MultiPar GUI parser, parser might split text data wrongly. I did not see this bug, as my old PC was very slow, hehe. It checks alignment of UTF-8 bytes now. Furthermore I increased pipe buffer size to be double, then PAR2 client would not wait parser so much.

Bug fix: A failure at reading many filenames with multi-bytes characters was fixed.

Change: If PAR2 client failed to replace a damaged file, it doesn't delete recovered file.
Change: PAR1 client doesn't stop by error, when it failed to correct misnamed files.
