DiskCat allows you to quickly create a browsable and searchable catalog consisting of the contents of any directory. This includes optical, physical or flash drive media types. Easily create catalogs of CD or DVD collections. DiskCat indexes all found items in a given path, creates dummy (zero byte) files of each of the items and archives them in exactly the same folder and path structure as the original folder... all into one single archive. It's like creating a snapshot of the contents of a directory.

The format of the created catalog archives are in ZIP (Compressed folder) format. These archives can be opened, extracted and browsed by using DiskCat or another compatible or associated program. Because of DiskCat's method of creating browsable catalogs of disk contents, these ZIP files are tiny and extraction processes are extremely fast.

1. Fixed some issues regarding anti-virus false possitives
      found on retmp.exe and dcexit.exe sub applications used by
      the DiskCat main program. The "retmp.exe" application is used
      and called by the main program and it's primary function is
      to clean up all temporary working files for the main program
      when a new disk catalog is being created. On the other hand,
      "dcexit.exe" is called when the user aborts a catalog creation
      process and aborts all processes and child processes used by
      the main DiskCat.exe program. The above changes are in fact
      related to sub programs or binary code related to the main
      application, but for the sake of keeping things simple, we will
      be lising all changes with reference to the main program's
      changelog and other documents like Readme's etc.

      NOTE: At first, we packed these two sub executables by using
      ExeScript (EverStrike Software), but there were so many virus

Shutter lets you perform an action when a user-specified event occurs. The event could be timer countdown, a certain time trigger, low CPU usage, user inactive, low battery etc. The action could be shutdown, reboot, logoff, lock workstation, sleep, hibernate etc. It is also able to play a custom sound and/or run a program of your choice, in addition to displaying a user-configurable message. A web interface is also available that permits remote execution of one of a list of actions.

Note: the developer has added limitations in recent "Lite" versions of his software. Shutter is limited to 5 presets, events, and actions.

Balabolka is a feature-rich program to read text aloud from a variety of file types including DOC, RTF, PDF, ODT, FB2 and HTML. The program uses Microsoft's own Speech API 4 and 5, but lets you fine tune various voice parameters, including rate and pitch, and a substitution list can also be applied to improve the quality of the voice's articulation. The program supports customized font and background color, skins, control reading from the system tray or by the global hotkeys.

Balabolka can also save the synchronized text to external LRC files or in MP3 tags inside the audio files. When the audio file is played with players on a computer or on modern digital audio players, the text will be displayed synchronously (in the same way as lyrics for songs).

Also includes batch conversion tools from of a wide variety of document formats to audio or plain text and a file compare tool, file splitter, and screen magnification window.
