Immersive Explorer is designed to be an alternative to the default file explorer included in Windows (known as Windows Explorer). Although it is not a Windows 8 "Metro application", it is designed around the "Metro" user interface guidelines. It will be optimised for touch-screens, but will offer a great experience for desktop users too (with features like scroll-to-zoom, keyboard navigation). It uses graphical hardware acceleration to display fluid animations and transitions, making it look more modern than the default GDI-based Windows file explorer.

Die Druckertreiber von Canon haben Probleme Druckausgaben von Programmen mit höherer Berechtigung zu verarbeiten.
Erfolgt von einem solchen Programm eine Druckausgabe, z.B. von dem Programm Hardcopy, dann wird diese Druckausgabe vom Canon-Treiber gelöscht, allerdings auch alle folgenden Druckausgaben von anderen Programmen.
Dieses Problem wird unter Windows 7 von dem Programm Hardcopy umgangen.
Dieses Problem sollten Sie auf jeden Fall an die Firma Canon melden!
Dieses Problem tritt dann auf, wenn in der Manifestdatei eines Programmes folgender Parameter angegeben wird: uiAccess='true'
Wenn Sie unter Windows 8 diesen Fehler umgehen wollen, dann bitte die Datei c:\programme(x86)\hardcopy\hardcopy.exe.manifest auf uiAccess='false' abändern, dann wird auch unter Windows 8 dieser Fehler umgangen, allerdings wird dann in Windows 8 Apps und im Windows 8 Startbildschirm kein Druckersymbol zur Verfügung gestellt.
