GetWindowText ist ein sehr kleines und portables Programm, mit dem Sie Fenster- texte auslesen können. Mit einem Klick der linken Maustaste auf die Schaltfläche mit GetWindowText Icon und durch das Gedrückthalten der linken Maustaste (drag), kann das Auslesen gestartet werden. Danach einfach die Maus über das Fenster halten, von welchem aus der Text ausgelesen werden soll.

Ausgelesen werden fast alle Texte, wie z.B. aus Edit- , Static- , Groupbox - Controls, usw.
Unterstützt werden auch Verzeichnisbäume (SysTreeView32) und Listenansichten (SysListView32), hier wird der komplette Inhalt ausgelesen. Beim Loslassen der Maustaste wird das Auslesen beendet.

Immersive Explorer is designed to be an alternative to the default file explorer included in Windows (known as Windows Explorer). Although it is not a Windows 8 "Metro application", it is designed around the "Metro" user interface guidelines. It will be optimised for touch-screens, but will offer a great experience for desktop users too (with features like scroll-to-zoom, keyboard navigation). It uses graphical hardware acceleration to display fluid animations and transitions, making it look more modern than the default GDI-based Windows file explorer.

Möchte man z.B. eine Liste seiner Lieder aus einem bestimmten Ordner erstellen, bekommt man mit Dir-It eine gute Hilfe zur Hand. Dateien oder ganze Ordner markieren und per Maus auf auf die Dir-It Lupe ziehen, schon sind die Dateinamen in der Zwischenablage und können in Word, Excel oder jedem anderen Programm eingefügt werden.
Möchte man nur bestimmte Dateitypen aus einem Ordner haben, kann man den Dateityp in den Optionen vorgeben.

Listary is an enhancement that allows you to quickly search almost any listing in Windows by simply typing your search terms. The program will pop up a small, semi-transparent window in Explorer windows (including open/save dialogs), Task Manager, Registry Editor, and even directly on your desktop. The program works with almost any application with a system-generated list.

Although some programs will automatically jump to the first letter you type (a find-as-you-type feature of Windows Explorer), you must type quickly for more than one letter and cannot see your output. Listary brings a long-time feature of Linux to Windows, letting you enter whole words, and type slower with automatic changes. Additionally, it allows wildcards and has the ability to edit your input with immediate results.

Advanced features include hotkeys, autocomplete, blacklists, favorites, a customizable window. Note that the program contains many "pro"-only features, but the program is very functional in its basic version.
