CopyQ erweitert die Windows-Zwischenablage mit zusätzlichen Komfortfunktionen. Die Freeware speichert auf Wunsch die kopierten Objekte dauerhaft und bietet eine intelligente Suchfunktion.

Der Zwischenspeicher unter Windows ist bekanntlich leider allzu spartanisch und flüchtig. Wer auf bestimmte Inhalte zugreifen möchte, kommt meist zu spät. CopyQ verspricht Abhilfe, erweitert den Funktionsumfang des Zwischenspeichers und sorgt dafür, dass der Anwender auch zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt alle in die Zwischenablage kopierten Texte und Bilder weiterhin parat hat.

Nützlich ist die in CopyQ integrierte Such- und Bearbeitungsfunktion für alle in den Zwischenspeicher kopierten Elemente. Für Übersicht sorgen die konfigurierbaren Tabs. Mit der Notizfunktion kann man einzelne Texte oder Bilder zusätzlich kommentieren. Einzelne, nicht mehr benötigte Elemente lassen sich jederzeit aus der Liste beseitigen.

CopyQ bietet als erweiterte Zwischenablage all das, was man an den Standard-Bordmitteln vermisst.     Large data items in tabs are now stored in separate location unless

    copyq info data command and overridden using COPYQ_ITEM_DATA_PATH
    environment variable. To disable this functionality use copyq config item_data_threshold -1 - the default value is 1024 and items larger than
    this amount of bytes are stored in the separate location.

    Command dialog now shows advanced properties for built-in commands allowing
    to copy the command line to set global shortcut in system.

    Global shortcuts are now also visible in menus ( #2382 ).

    Avoids pasting all image formats as new item.

Mit Wise Folder Hider hat man die Möglichkeit, Dateien, Ordern oder USB-Laufwerke zu verstecken. Nach dem ersten Programmstart muss ein Passwort vergeben werden, anschl. kann man über das Programm Dateien/Ordner auswählen, welche nach Beenden des Programms nicht mehr im Explorer auftauchen. Erst nach einem erneuten Start und natürlich der Passworteingabe kann man wieder auf die versteckten Daten zugreifen.
