Filter for the File and Folder Search (2024-03-03): Multiple search terms for the name can now be defined by separating the individual search terms with the character / (for example "name1/name2"). Also multiple file extensions can now be separated with the same character (for example "ext1/ext2/ext3"). The character / has the advantage that it cannot appear in a file name itself and has no special meaning within the wildcard search or the search with regular expressions, so that this character can be used as a unique separator. With the new option "Total Text must match", the entire file name must match the specified text or regular expression to be found. If this option is disabled, the text or regular expression only needs to appear somewhere in the file name. The new option "Binary files only" can be used to limit the search to binary files.

    WizTree considers file names that have been automatically renamed by Windows as equivalent.

    Note that WizTree currently doesn't compare the file contents, so take care before deleting files that might not be true duplicates.

If any duplicate files are located while scanning, they will be indicated by a "+" symbol next to the file name - click on the plus to expand the list of duplicate files which will be displayed under the original file.
    New "Dup Count" (number of duplicates the file has) and "Dup Size" (total size of all other duplicate files) columns will appear and the list can be sorted by these to quickly locate duplicates. Select the "Duplicates only" checkbox to quickly display only files that have duplicates.
    A new separate "File Name" column has been added to the "File View" that displays just the file name, excluding the path
    File view might not have shown all relevant files when "max files" was not set to "ALL" and sorting was not by size - fixed
    File view sorting is much quicker now
