Der virtuelle T.38 Printer macht das Versenden von Fax-Nachrichten mittels IP-Protokoll möglich. Im Grund nutzt die Demo damit die gleiche Technologie wie VoIP-Programme à la Skype und Co., nur eben für Telefaxe.

Nach Angaben des Herstellers wurde der Druckertreiber erfolgreich mit verschiedenen SIP-Providern getestet, darunter beispielsweise Sipcall, Sipbase, dus.net, Easybell und t-easy. Nach der Installation erscheint T.38 Printer seiner Arbeitsweise gemäß als zusätzlicher Drucker im System. Anschließend schickt man aus jeder Anwendung mit Druckfunktion heraus Faxe über die SIP-Leitung.

FileBot ist ein nützliches Umbenennungs-Tool speziell für Filme und Serien. Die Freeware ist dabei behilflich, mehreren Filmen oder Serien automatisiert und einheitlich Dateinamen zu verleihen.

Anstatt Datei für Datei mühsam manuell zu benennen, erspart es viel Zeit, FileBot diese Aufgabe anzuvertrauen. Es gelingt der Freeware, mit Hilfe von verschiedenen Film- und Seriendatenbanken wie IMDb die Videodateien automatisch zu benennen. Falls die vorgeschlagenen Dateinamen nicht gefallen, können sie durch eigene Schemata ersetzt werden.

FileBot sucht auch die passenden Untertitel in mehr als 30 Sprachen zu einem Film oder einer Serie und lädt sie herunter. Die Freeware bietet Film- und Serienfans einige hilfreiche und Zeit sparende Funktionen.

SearchMyFiles is a powerful alternative to the standard Windows search. It allows you to easily find files by wildcard, last modified/created/last accessed time, file attributes, content (text or binary search), and file size. The program is non-indexing, meaning it searches the drive directly, which is often slower but more accurate.

SearchMyFiles now uses an internal wildcard parser instead of basing the search result on the wildcard parser of Windows. This change solves an annoying bug caused by Windows wildcard parser: In previous versions, SearchMyFiles sometimes returned incorrect results, because Windows also matches the wildcard with the short filename (8.3 DOS format).
Notice: The new wildcard parser may cause some compatibility issues, for example: When you scanned using *.* wildcard with Windows parser, it returned all files, including files without extension. With the new SearchMyFiles wildcard parser, *.* returns only files with extension. In order to return all files, you should use * instead of *.*
When loading old config files, SearchMyFiles automatically converts all *.* wildcards to *
The new wildcard parser has some advantages, for example: if you search for *.*.*.*, you'll get all files with 3 dot characters or more. With Windows wildcard parser in previous versions, you simply got the list of all files.
You can now exclude files by using wildcards list. You have to select this option from the combo-box, because the default option is to exclude files by extension.
You can now specify environment strings in the 'Base Folders' and 'Excluded Folders' fields (For example: %AppData% )

ProcessKO ist für Profis und Anwender, die sich sehr gut am PC auskennen! ProcessKO ist ein kleines hilfreiches Tool zum schnellen Killen der laufenden, bzw hängenden Prozessen bzw. Programmen.
