For example, you want an action which finds all windows of a certain title/class/EXE and do something. Passing 1 only returns top-level desktop windows (usually what you'll want to do), passing 0 returns ALL window handles (a lot); for example, I had 5 programs open, passing 1 returns 5 results consisting of just the main window handles for each app. Passing 0 returned a table of 380 handles! Remember, each button, text box, etc. is considered a window and gets a handle.

T3Desk ist ein gelungener Fenstermanager, der die Aero-Peek-Funktion von Windows 7 unterstützt.

Arbeiten Sie oft mit vielen Fenster und sind es leid diese zwecks Übersicht ständig minimieren zu müssen? Das Fenstermanagement von Windows 7 ist gut, aber lang nicht perfekt. T3Desk zeigt, dass es noch übersichtlicher geht, ohne dabei Einbuße bei der Optik zu machen.

Der Fenstermanager unterstützt verschiedene Tastenkombinationen. Beispielsweise werden alle geöffneten Fenster mit einem Druck auf "Strg + Umschalt + <" minimiert. Die Fenster verschwinden aber nicht wie gewohnt in der Taskleiste, sondern werden in den Desktop "gesaugt" und sind dort, je nach eingestellterter Transparenz, mehr oder weniger auffällig zu vernehmen.

Zur besseren Übersicht kann optional der Fenstertitel dezent neben dem "minimierten" Fenster angezeigt werden. Ausserdem verschwinden die Programm-Icons aus der Taskleiste, sofern sie mit T3Desk minimiert werden. Fährt man über das Icon von T3Desk, werden alle Fenster als Taskleisten-Thumbnail angezeigt.

Fazit: T3Desk verbindet geschickt Funktionalität mit einem ansprechenden und übersichtlichen Fenstermanagement. Vor allem Nutzer, die mit vielen geöffneten Fenstern arbeiten, sollten T3Desk einmal ausprobieren.

PureText entfernt überflüssige Formatierungen aus Texten. Nach dem Speichern in der Zwischenablage löscht die Freeware Steuerzeichen und HTML-Formatierungen. Der saubere Plain-Text lässt sich in Textverarbeitungen verwenden.

PureText löscht neben der Schriftart-Formatierung auch den Fontstyle (Fett, Kursiv, Unterstrichen), Farbe und Ausrichtung (Links-/Rechtsbündig/Zentriert) aus dem Text. Ebenfalls auf der Löschliste stehen Bilder, Tabellen, eingebettete Objekte und Superscript. Über eine Kommandozeile greifen externe Programme auf die Funktionen zu.

PureText agiert als praktischer Helfer für alle, die viel mit Texten arbeiten. Texte von Internet-Seiten bereitet er ebenso auf wie Inhalte aus PowerPoint. Als Ergebnis steht reiner Text zur Verfügung, der sich selbst im Windows Editor verarbeiten lässt.
