A workaround to makes sure that client will notify the lite server so that the next boot the client will enter local booting. Add ocs_server in the client's boot parameters for Clonezilla lite server. This is due to a ps (from procps-ng 3.3.15) issue that somehow it can not list the PID by this command: ps -C ocs-live-get-img.

In addition to massive-deployment mode, the interactive-client mode was added so that lite server can provide the ability to enter interactive mode of Clonezilla live in the clients.

Let live-build 20180618 handle uEFI boot, so ocs-put-signed-grub2-efi-bldr and ocs-gen-grub2-efi-bldr are deprecated. The changes:

For Clonezilla lite sever, change ezio_seeder_extra_opt as ezio_seeder_opt. Add two more options: ezio_leecher_opt and ezio_common_opt in drbl-ocs.conf. These three options can also be overwritten if it's assigned in boot parameters.
Assign "-t 1" for ezio_leecher_opt so that ezio will timeout in 1 min.
Add nuttcp as an alternative to netcat in ocs-onthefly. Add dialog for choosing compression algorithm in expert mode. Option "-u" was added in the dialog of expert mode to use nuttcp.
To avoid OOM killer to kill ezio, we use the multi torrent files support (ezio >= 1.1.6) and limit the cache size. It can be tuned by ezio_cache_ratio in drbl-ocs.conf.
Add a mechanism to reuse image for BT from raw device mode. The option -mdst-img can be used to assign the existing pseudo image.

Nach 14 Jahren in der Entwicklung hat der Partitionseditor GParted Version 1.0 erreicht. Die stabile Version markiert die Unterstützung von Gtkmm 3.

GParted steht für Gnome Partition Editor und ist neben dem KDE Partition Manager eines der beiden bekanntesten grafischen Werkzeuge für die Partitionierung von beschreibbaren Datenspeichern wie Festplatten, SSDs oder USB-Sticks. Im Hintergrund verwendet Gparted das Kommandozeilenwerkzeug parted. GParted ist in C++ geschrieben und nutzt Gtkmm als grafisches Toolkit. Nach 14 Jahren Entwicklung erreicht das mit fast allen Distributionen ausgelieferte Werkzeug die Version 1.0.

Die Entwickler weisen in ihrer Ankündigung der neuen Version darauf hin, dass der Schritt zu Version 1.0 hier nicht bedeutet, dass diese Version stabiler sei als die Vorgänger. Mit diesem Schritt soll vielmehr der Umstieg von Gtkmm 2 auf Gtkmm 3 markiert werden. Gleichzeitig wurde die Dokumentation auf die Gnome Yelp Tools umgestellt.

Des Weiteren unterstützt GParted 1.0 jetzt auch die Online-Größenänderung von erweiterten Partitionen. Zudem wurde die Unterstützung für das Dateisystem F2FS (Flash-Friendly File System) um zusätzliche Funktionen erweitert. Das erneute Einlesen von NTFS-Partitionen konnte beschleunigt werden. Das Paket btrfs-progs muss nun mindestens in Version 3.12 vorliegen. Darüber hinaus wurden viele Fehler beseitigt und neue sowie erweiterte Übersetzungen eingefügt.

Mit der neuen Version einher gehen auch einige neue oder aktualisierte Abhängigkeiten. Dazu zählen gtkmm 3.4.0, glibmm 2.32, libparted 2.2 in mindestens diesen Versionen sowie die Yelp-Tools. Weggefallen sind die Abhängigkeiten zu gnome-doc-utils, rarian und rarian-compat. Alle weiteren Änderungen sind in den Release Notes verzeichnet. GParted ist neben der Auslieferung im Quellcode und als Distributionspaket auch Grundlage der Live-CDs GParted-Live und Parted Magic und unter anderem in der Rettungs-Distribution SystemRescueCD vorhanden.
