gpg: Decryption of messages not using the MDC mode will now lead to a hard failure even if a legacy cipher algorithm was used. The option --ignore-mdc-error can be used to turn this failure into a warning. Take care: Never use that option unconditionally or without a prior warning.

Changelog

Crypto mails can now be moved like any other mails.
Mails can be automatically secured if pubkeys are available.
Outlook no longer freezes in the background when encrypting.
Note:There are reports that for some users this causes sending crypto mails to crash. In that case you can "Disable non-blocking encrypt / sign" in the options.
It would help if you would also add a note that you are affected in the task for this: T3838.
Major internal changes to further improve stability.

3. Additional notes
===================

- GpgOL

  * It is not possible to modify mails (e.g. moving / flagging the mail)
    while they are shown decrypted.
    To workaround this: unselect the crypto mail and then make changes
    through the right click context menu or move it with drag and drop.

  * Crypto mails forwarded as attachment are not properly handled.

  * The certificate selection dialog sometimes opens in the background and
    need an overhaul.

  * Localization is only there for German and Portuguese.

- General

  * For 3.2 we plan to, optionally, further automate GpgOL. This would
    set the GnuPG-Option:

        trust-model tofu+pgp

    As this is not properly handled everywhere (especially Kleopatra's
    file verification dialog) this is not default.

    You can add it manually to your gpg.conf. The trust-model is already
    supported by GpgOL.

- Kleopatra

  * Netkey cards are not yet supported by the new Manage Smartcard view.
