Die freie Faktura- und Buchhaltungssoftware Gnuaccounting erscheint in zwei Tagen in Version 0.8.1. Sie enthält verbesserte Funktionen für den
Rechnungs-Ein- und Ausgang, Import und Export.

Gnuaccounting ist eine freie Java-Faktura mit Buchhaltungsfunktionen für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen sowie Einzelunternehmen. Zum Erstellen von Rechnungen und Belegen bettet die Software OpenOffice.org ein. Sie unterstützt Chipkarten-basiertes Online-Banking (HBCI) und exportiert Daten, zum Beispiel zur elektronischen Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung. Die erste Version wurde am 25.3.2005 veröffentlicht. Seitdem gab es zahlreiche neue Versionen der Software. Das Programm liegt in Deutsch und Englisch vor, kann als portable Anwendung genutzt werden und verwendet auf Wunsch externe Datenbanken wie MySQL oder PostgreSQL statt der eingebetteten Datenbank Apache Derby.

Die neue Version 0.8.1 von Gnuaccounting bringt einige neue Features. Nach dem Schreiben einer Rechnung kann man nun die Anzahl auszudruckender Kopien wählen und die Rechnung auch gleich als Bareingang verbuchen. Die LibreOffice-Unterstützung wurde verbessert, so werden neuere LibreOffice-Versionen unterstützt. Dank einer neuen Bibliothek für die Einbettung von OpenOffice/LibreOffice und der Arbeit der LibreOffice-Gemeinschaft wird die kommende Version 3.6.1 der freien Office-Suite ebenso gut mit Gnuaccounting zusammenarbeiten wie bislang nur OpenOffice.org. Eine wichtige Neuerung ist außerdem der Eingangsassistent, der eine einfache Verbuchung und Bezahlung eingehender Belege gewährleistet.

Kontakte können nun im- und exportiert werden, ein neuer Kontenrahmen (»jes EÜR«) ist verfügbar und ein zusätzliches Bankdaten-Format (Volksbank Online-banking) kann importiert werden. Der Import von Bankdaten ist wichtig für Gnuaccounting, da kleinere Firmen einen Großteil ihrer Buchhaltung abwickeln können, indem sie lediglich Gegenkonto, Umsatzsteuersatz und Belegnummer auswählen. Bislang unterstützte Gnuaccounting dahingehend nur den Import von Moneyplex, Hibiscus, Starmoney und Chipkartenbanking via HBCI/FinTS.

Eine Liste vergangener Geschäftsvorfälle kann nun eingesehen werden, dies war bislang nur für einzelne Buchungen möglich. Zusätzlich erkennt die Belegscanfunktion nun Barcodes und die Verwaltung der Wirtschaftsgüter wurde ausgebaut.

Gnuaccounting 0.8.1 erscheint am 23.8.2012 um 15:00 Uhr auf dem Sourceforge-Server. Eine Vorabversion steht bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt auf der Projektseite zur Verfügung.

Das finde ich mal 'ne richtig gute Meldung 

Das Programm werde ich mir auch sicher ansehen. Ist nämlich mal wieder ein Programm mit dem ich etwas anfangen kann und das mich noch weiter von M$ basierten Geschichten wegbringt. Für meinen Kleinkrämerkram genau das Richtige.
